Water AMR Project Timeline

Special Meeting was held at the District office on August 26, 2009. Pascoag water customers unanimously approved the Water AMR Project.
Pascoag Utility District applied for a STAG Grant on October 21, 2009 in the amount of $218,000.
The bond signing took place on November 5, 2009.
On November 13, 2009 Pascoag Utility District opened the sealed bids from the Meter request for proposals.
In December 2009 RFP awarded to Master Meter (AMR-Drive By Water Metering System).
December 2009 District receives notice of award for the EPA Grant in the amount of $218,000.00.
Water meters were delivered April 2010.
Pre-pilot water meter installation project begun mid-April 2010.
District requested first reimbursement from RI Clean Water Finance Agency.
Notification letters have been sent to all remaning customers for meter installation appointments.
Pascoag Utility District received $109,000 from the EPA Grant in the fall of 2010. At that time there was $108,000 leftin the grant to complete the project.
As of September 30, 2011, Routes 1-6 have had new water meters installed.
The Pascoag Utility District Water Department has completed 70% of the new water meter installations as of September 30, 2011!
