The Administrative Staff of the Pascoag Utility District was presented with a special award for “Understanding Customer Service in a Crisis”. The award was made at the annual conference of the Atlantic States Rural Water and Wastewater Association held at the Radisson Hotel in Warwick, RI.

Steve Levy of Atlantic States made the presentation to Judith Allaire, Customer Service and Accounting Manager of Pascoag, who accepted the award on behalf of the entire customer service staff. Customer Service Representatives at the District recognized by the award are: Christine Cournoyer, Robin O’Connor, Sharon McDonald, and Harle Round.

A highlight at the conference was a special seminar – “Dealing With a Water Emergency.” The District’s General Manager, Theodore Garille, led the panel discussion on this issue.
